Franko Heke, of Ngāpuhi Māori and Italian descent, is a musician known for his unique fusion of mantra and reggae ‘Cosmic Kirtan’.

 

Influenced by Xavier Rudd, Michael Jackson, Guns N' Roses, Cat Stevens, Krishna Das, and Metallica, Franko's music career has taken him on tours across Japan and the USA.

Born in the 1980s, Franko's early dreams were split between music and sports, but music ultimately won his heart.

​

He transitioned from a rock'n'roll lifestyle to a more mindful approach, embracing meditation, yoga, and breathwork. This change led him to create NZ Spirit & Resolution festivals, alcohol-free, family-oriented events that celebrate community wellness with holistic workshops and music.

Through his music and workshops, Franko seeks to raise consciousness and promote unity, drawing on his Māori heritage and ancient mantras.

He's toured with artists like Xavier Rudd, Mose, Nahko & Medicine for the People, and shared stages with Donavon Frankenreiter, spreading a message of connection and harmony.
